For some time now I have dreamed of owning my own business and I am giving it a try in the here and now, however, after eight (8) years in broadcasting I have made the decision to take a new full time job as I build my cybersecurity business and at the same time do all that I can do and have all the resources I can have available to assist my wife in her lifelong struggle with her end stage renal failure.
My new job will be at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology working in the IT services department as an infrastructure support specialist. OSUIT as it abbreviated is located in beautiful Okmulgee, Oklahoma and is, to borrow from military lingo, the absolute “tip of the sword” when it comes to technology (STEM) training and career development; making OSUIT truly “America’s Brightest Orange”! I could not be more excited to come on board and be a part of this amazing team of professionals working behind the scenes to ensure that the IT infrastructure maintains an always on up time.
As I pen the ending to another chapter in my life’s annals I say goodbye to my co-workers at Southeastern Oklahoma Radio LLC and wish them each well wishes in their endeavors.
